About us

We are a GP surgery based in Cinderford, Gloucestershire. The practice consists of four doctors and an emergency care practitioner together with a team of nursing and support staff. We all work together to improve the health care available to the people of Cinderford and surrounding area.

We pride ourselves on being patient centred. This means that you are the focus of our attention. We believe that listening to our patients is more important than systems and protocols. This means that you will be fully involved and informed in all decisions about your care.

We are a training practice committed to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals. We provide training and supervision for medical students, foundation doctors, GP registrars, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists. By investing in education and professional development, we are helping to prepare the future healthcare workforce. Our trainees make a valuable contribution to the practice and our patients while gaining practical experience in a supportive clinical environment. All trainees are closely supervised and supported by experienced clinicians to ensure they receive high-quality training and deliver safe, effective patient care.

As part of the Forest Locality Primacy Care Network, we also offer weekday evening and weekend appointments at any one of the locality surgeries. These appointments are bookable on the normal practice phone service. Please ask the reception team if you would prefer an appointment in the evening or at weekends.
